In a futuristic Tokyo, the mafia has leveled up to become crazy powerful Demon Lords thanks to some wild ether enhancements, and there are brave souls—literally called Braves—who take them on. Enter Yashiro, a reluctant Grim Reaper stuck with a spunky apprentice named Aki Jogamine, a high school girl eager to become a Brave herself. But instead of smooth training sessions, Yashiro gets pulled into one chaotic mess after another.
