The King's Warden

In a tiny mountain village during the 15th century Joseon, the well-meaning headman Heung-do stumbles upon a juicy rumor: hosting an exiled nobleman could bring loads of luck and wealth to his struggling village. Dreaming of a brighter future for his people, Heung-do jumps at the chance and sends in a petition to welcome a noble guest. Little does he know, he’s about to host none other than the ousted boy-king Danjong, a fallen monarch with a heavy past. This unexpected twist sets off a chain of events that could either make or break his little village’s destiny!
