He used to lead the Uchiha clan with undeniable force, but his overuse of the powerful Mangekyō Sharingan left him blind. Desperate to see again, he borrowed his brother Izuna's eyes, unlocking an "eternal" version of that eye technique. After getting passed over for Hokage and feeling betrayed by his clan, he ditched the Hidden Leaf and went hunting for the Nine-Tails. He returned for an epic showdown with Hashirama but ended up getting defeated even with the beast on his side. Some thought he was gone for good!
