Shizuku Tsukishima

Shizuku is a junior high girl living in the chill Tokyo suburb of Tama New Town. She’s got a passion for writing, evident from her English-to-Japanese translation of “Country Road” for her graduation—plus her quirky Tokyo twist on the song. With summer wrapping up, she’s on a mission to read twenty books before school kicks off, but the one she craves isn’t at her local library. Heading to school, she’s delighted to find it there, only to discover the name "Amasawa Seiji" on the checkout card. Turns out, he’s the same guy who called her lyrics corny! Talk about awkward! Eventually, their relationship grows from enemies to something sweet, with Amasawa even popping the marriage question for the future. Spoiler alert: she says yes!
