Kyouko Otonashi

Kyouko is the heart and soul of Ikkoku-kan, managing the place from her cozy little room. Recently, she's been navigating life after her husband’s passing, trying to hold onto Souichirou-san’s memory while figuring out her feelings toward others. Her trusty dog shares the same name as her late husband, a sweet nod to their life together. Although her parents urge her to come home and remarry, Kyouko prefers to stick around, helping out her grandfather Otonashi instead. Life's a bit messy, but she’s determined to find her own path, one step at a time.
