Youhei Sunohara

Youhei stands at about 5'4" and is Tomoya's laid-back buddy with a bit of a rebellious streak. He joined school on a football scholarship, but after getting booted from the soccer team for a fight, he transformed into the king of skipping class—outdoing even Tomoya in absences. The pair earned the nickname "Dirty Pair" around campus. Throughout the story, Youhei plays a key role, especially in the Sunohara siblings' arc, where his sister Mei strives to help him find his old spark. In the After Story arc, he steps up during tough times, even attending Nagisa's fake graduation and visiting her when she's sick. While he’s often the comic relief, the movie shows a more serious side as he juggles a part-time job to support his family and bonds with Tomoyo to help Tomoya cope with his struggles.
