But after a fateful night when he brushed off his crush Menma, only to lose her in a tragic drowning, everything changed. Guilt consumed him, and he turned into a recluse, rarely leaving his home. Now, he rocks a beanie and glasses to brave the outside world, although he feels awkward around strangers.
