Mizuki

Meet Mizuki, the quirky snake familiar chilling at Yonomori shrine. Saved by Nanami from some mean classmates, he became totally smitten, leaving a love mark on her wrist. Before you know it, he swoops into her school and pulls her off to the shrine, which turns out to be a bit of a cozy prison. Having grown up in a greenhouse, he’s a snake who's a little out of touch with his kind. Mizuki’s super lonely too; his goddess has faded away, but he still holds out hope for her return. He wants Nanami to stay with him forever, but when she declines, things take a dark turn, thankfully interrupted by Tomoe. The shrine is actually a cover for his goddess's treasured plum tree. Through it all, Mizuki has a soft side, cooking for Nanami when she’s under the weather. In a wild twist, he even seals their bond with a kiss while she sleeps!
