Chiyoko Fujiwara

Chiyoko's childhood in World War II Japan was anything but ordinary, as she helped run her mother’s sweets shop. One day, her world tilts when a film studio director spots her and offers her a role in a movie, but her mom, quick to dismiss the opportunity, slams the door on the idea, calling acting a “dubious profession.” Later, a chaotic encounter with a stranger on the run turns her life upside down; he's charming, he helps her up, and she can’t forget his stories about painting a snowy landscape post-war. A mysterious key hangs around his neck, hinting at something special. They connect, but the moment fades when police discover him hiding in her store.
