Rintarou Okabe

Meet Okabe Rintarou, a quirky first-year at Tokyo Denki University who proudly dubs himself the "Crazy Mad Scientist." Standing at 5'10", he totally embraces his villainous persona, despite showing off some seriously childish chuunibyou vibes. After settling in Akihabara, he launched the "Future Gadget Research Establishment," cooking up gadgets that are as useful as a screen door on a submarine. He chats away on his phone, often in nonsensical monologues that leave most scratching their heads. With just a handful of friends who can keep up, his signature sign-off for every convo is "El Psy Kongroo." Oh, and he’s got a complicated love story with Makise Kurisu!
