Noriko Takaya
Noriko Takaya is the daughter of legendary spaceship commander Yuzo Takaya, and she’s been dreaming of following in his footsteps since she was a kid. Tragically, she lost him in battle against aliens when she was just a girl. Now 16, she’s at Okynawa High, training to become a pilot, but she struggles with controlling the robots. Luckily, her friend Kazumi helps boost her confidence. Despite the competition being fierce, when the time comes to choose pilots for an exciting mission, Noriko and Kazumi get the nod. Calm and sweet most of the time, Noriko turns fierce when it matters, becoming a determined leader when piloting the Gunbuster!
