Meet Faust, a modern-day descendent of the infamous Faustus who once made a deal with the devil. In "Shaman King," this lonely kid's world revolves around his best friend Eliza, who’s battling a terminal illness. Devoted to her, Faust goes full-on doctor mode, eventually saving her life and marrying her. They run a cozy clinic in Germany, but tragedy strikes when a burglar takes Eliza from him in a shocking turn of events. Grief-stricken, Faust dives into necromancy to resurrect her, wielding her skeleton as his ever-present medium. After a fierce showdown with Yoh, they join forces to take on Hao.
