Meet “Otaku-kun,” your typical shy high schooler who lives and breathes the girls’ anime “Kiramon.” With his messy hair and a shirt plastered with graphics of his favorite characters, he’s easily overlooked in the bustling halls. When Kiramon comes up, though, he can’t help but ramble on, barely catching his breath as he dives into epic storylines and character details. Art is his escape—his sketches are fantastic—but numbers and speech? Not so much. He’s not exactly comfortable around girls, but fate has a funny way of teaming him up with two lively classmates, Kei Amane and Kotoko Ijichi, turning his world upside down.
