Itsuki Koizumi

Itsuki is the tall, 5'10" high school junior who's the newest recruit of the SOS Brigade, snagged by the energetic Haruhi as the mysterious transfer student. With a permanent grin plastered on his face, he speaks in an overly polite manner and loves giving long-winded explanations, complete with animated hand gestures. He often indulges in board games with Kyon, though he never wins—Kyon's suspicious that he throws the games on purpose. An undercover Esper assigned to keep Haruhi emotionally stable, Itsuki keeps his powers under wraps. While he shares wild theories about Haruhi’s god-like status, he’s careful to stay neutral, often leaving Kyon bewildered yet amused by his philosophical musings.
