Chiaki Mamiya

Chiaki’s one of those laid-back friends who’s always up for a game of baseball after school with Makoto and Kousuke. But there’s way more to him than just catching fly balls. When Makoto jumps in to save Kousuke and his girlfriend from a train disaster, she bumps into Chiaki, who’s just time-traveled back to fix things. He spills the beans about how he hails from the future where time-leaping is a thing. He came back to see a painting that’s already lost to time, but using his powers to save Kousuke means he can’t get back home—or see that artwork. Talk about a bummer!
