Kyon, standing at 5'7", is a typical high school sophomore at North High—well, typical if you ignore the whole “nickname mystery” thing. No one really knows his real name; he’s just Kyon, a name his aunt gave him and his little sister made popular. He’s got a pretty cynical view on life, brushing off wild ideas like aliens or time travelers, but that all changes when he meets the eccentric Haruhi Suzumiya. Suddenly, he’s swept into her whirlwind world and becomes the reluctant member of the SOS Brigade, doing his best to keep her chaotic antics in check. Just a regular guy among a bunch of oddballs!
