Chiaki Matsushita

Matsushita is that quiet, older-sister vibe in Class 2-D. She’s got a heart of gold, treating everyone—boys and girls—with kindness, but she’s not one to chase after friendships. Chiaki, on the other hand, has always thought Class D was doomed to stay at the bottom. She’s kind of given up on her studies, convinced she could ace it if she wanted, but why bother? However, she starts to notice some changes in her class and feels a spark to help out. She’s a whiz at mental math too, holding her own against Class A’s Katsuragi. Lately, she's been keeping an eye on Kiyotaka but insists it's not a crush. Instead, she’s realizing that with a bit of effort, Class D might actually rise up the ranks. It all shifts when she sees Kei getting interested in Kiyotaka—it’s clear there’s something special about him!
