Fujita’s life in the Magic User’s Domain isn’t exactly magical—he’s kind of a disaster when it comes to casting spells. His only flickers of magic emerge when he’s in a tight spot, like that time in the Hole, a place where magic doesn’t work. When Caiman, a non-user with a terrifying mutation, takes his friend’s life, panic pushes Fujita into opening a dimensional door, something few can do. Fueled by revenge, he’s tasked by En to track down the transformation specialist, Ebisu. After saving her from Caiman's jaws, she pays a heavy price—her sanity. Now, Fujita must navigate anger and duty while keeping an eye on the traumatized Ebisu.
