Meet the Virtuous consort, a young woman hanging out in the lavish Diamond Palace of the inner court. Plucked from childhood and brought in by her aristocratic family because of some seriously creepy vibes from the previous Emperor, she spent her formative years in isolation, never receiving a visit from him. With his passing, you'd think she'd escape, but her family had other plans, pulling her back to her high consort role. Now, she’s got all the trappings of nobility but zero attention from the current Emperor, and her naivety makes her an easy target, even for her own attendants.
