Haine is the big bad of the Summertime Rendering series, and she’s something special. Known as Hiruko, or the God of Hitogashima, she’s the original source of all Shadows. This clever entity took on Haine’s shape, becoming a reflection of her first victim. But she wasn’t always this way—if you dive into Hitogashima’s legends, you’ll find that she once roamed the seas as a mysterious whale’s shadow. Haine blends a spooky vibe with an air of ancient mystery, making her a captivating force to reckon with in the story.
