Sanosuke Sagara

Sagara Sanosuke took off from home pretty young, joining the Sekihō Army and leaving his family behind—his dad, a local merchant and fighter; his mom, who sadly passed away; and his younger sister, Uki, who couldn’t have adored him more. He came back years later to find his family name had changed to Higashidani, but he stuck with Sagara. After some rough patches, including his crew being labeled frauds and facing the brutal end of the Tokugawa era, he became known as "Zanza," a fighter with a wicked right fist and a nostalgic old sword.
