Nurugai

Nurugai is a tough human survivor, the last of the Sanka tribe and wrongfully sentenced to death. Yeah, she’s got a lot on her plate. Her assigned monitor, Tenza, is supposed to keep an eye on her, but Nurugai's mind is tangled in guilt and fury. She holds a serious grudge against samurai, seeing them as dumb brutes who helped wipe out her village—a tragedy she can’t shake off. Raised by her wise grandfather in a rebel village, her life took a disastrous turn when she unknowingly welcomed a group of samurai, leading to the massacre that changed everything.
