Meet Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha's older half-brother and a full-fledged dog-demon who wears his pride like armor. He looks down on Inuyasha for being a half-demon and hanging out with humans, but honestly, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This guy is an absolute powerhouse, with raw strength that’s hard to match—though he did hit a snag against Naraku. Famously known as the Lord of the Western Lands (though that title isn’t used in the manga), Sesshoumaru roams without a permanent home or an interest in the Shikon Jewel. Instead, he’s after the legendary sword Tessaiga, which Inuyasha got. Stuck with Tenseiga—a sword that can revive the dead but isn’t much use otherwise—Sesshoumaru clashes with his brother repeatedly, all while struggling with his own ruthless nature.
