Rem Saverem

Rem was part of the last hope for humanity, leaving Earth when it became unlivable aboard Project Seeds. While searching the cosmos for a new home, she stumbled upon young Vash and Knives, two kids on a harsh planet. The crew wanted to rid themselves of the boys, but Rem stood up for them, treating them like human beings instead of monsters. Vash looked up to her deeply; she inspired him to follow her mantra: “No one has the right to take a life.” Her favorite flower, the red geranium, symbolized her fierce spirit, which Vash honors by wearing his iconic red coat.
