Meet Seishuu Handa, a young and dashing calligrapher who's got the talent but also a huge ego. After a seasoned pro criticizes his award-winning piece as "unoriginal," Seishuu loses it, leading to some wild consequences. His dad decides a little exile to the Goto Islands is just what he needs for a reality check—goodbye, swanky Tokyo! In this rural paradise, Seishuu’s trying to find his artistic groove, but he's constantly interrupted by a bunch of lively locals, especially the energetic kid, Naru, and a wild crew of fujoshi middle schoolers. As chaos unfolds, he discovers that inspiration comes in the most unexpected forms.
