In early 1900s Japan, Mao is an onmyoji with a twist—he’s been cursed to live for nine hundred years! His life takes a wild turn when he meets Nanoka Kiba, a junior high schooler who somehow winds up from the future. A bit of a tough cookie, Nanoka has dealt with her own trauma after losing her parents in a shocking accident. When she goes back to the arcade where it all started, she’s hurled into Mao’s supernatural world full of ayakashi.
